Why does my ipod video only play the music to my music videos?

I’m trying to find a music video I saw a few years back, but I only remember the storyline. The lead singer is on a bridge (or some ledge) and is about to jump off. Meanwhile the other band members are trying to get to where he is. The guy doesn’t jump, but the other band members end up dying somehow (possibly a car crash).
I think I saw the video around 2005, but I’m not sure. No idea who the artist was or what the name of the song is.
